From commotion to devotion
We’re all affected by the pressure of these times. A healthy vagus nerve is essential to reduce stress and anxiety, feel safe and maintain overall wellbeing.
The vague nerve is a a long meandering nerve that runs from the brain stem through the neck neck into the chest, organs and abdomen. This unique nerve holds the key to our ability to be present, aware and compassionate. It’s responsible for many important bodily functions, including controlling the heart rate, digestion and breathing.
In these sessions, we’ll explore somatic movement, the rhythmic flow of Kundalini kriyas, breath, mantra and meditation to calm the mind and tone the vagus to safely rest and digest.
As we move from commotion to devotion, we’ll let go of stress, tension and anxiety while tapping into a deeper sense of peace, compassion and gratitude.
I’ll share practical playful invitations for:
-
Connection and belonging – establishing energetic boundaries, relational presence and cosmic union
-
Sensory intelligence and embodiment – awakening the felt sense, tuning proprioception and fascia-based movement
-
Spiral dynamics and energy flow – using mudras, mantra and breath awareness for creative expansion
-
Regulation, rhythm and stillness – nervous system tuning, listening, slowing and integration
Immersing in the gong’s sound current and its rhythmic overtones impact the body and its meridians and help clear the aura. They penetrate every cell and fibre of the body releasing blocks (energetic and emotional), reducing nervous tension and stress while boosting circulation. The resulting benefits are greater self-awareness and a deeper inner connection.
